Summer Hairstyles

I've been tempted for a long time to cut my hair super short, like a pixie cut, and with the summer weather making its mark, I've been even more tempted lately. When I think of summer hairstyles the first thing that comes to my mind is simple and relaxed looking. The only thing that has kept me from daring to cut my hair has been my new found love for fishtailed braids and all it's variations. I recently read a step by step on how to make a braid headband and was super excited to have gotten rather decent results for my first try, so I'll be trying to perfect that one for summer. You really can't go wrong with the loose waves look, I personally think its a summer hairstyle staple, and if you haven't actually been at the beach there are great products that help get those perfectly beachy locks, like Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. We must recognize that there will be a moment when it'll be so warm that you just won't stand to have your hair loose or anywhere near your neck, so for that one you can sport a loose messy ponytail or a slick high ballerina style bun, I love both of these options because they look effortlessly sexy, with the distinction that one looks really surfer chic and the other one more modern.
