Summer Styling

Getting ready for special ocassions during Summer can be kind of tricky... what do you wear to a wedding that's outside and the days are ranging between the high 80's and low 90's? I decided to do this post not just because there are tons of weddings during Summer, but because last weekend I was invited to a baby shower and deciding what to wear ended up not being as easy as I thought (I'll post some pictures of what I wore soon!).

This Antik Batik dress is a great option for Summer dressing, the detailing on this dress is exquisite and at the same time it has such an easy going vibe to it. You could wear as it is for a more dressier look or add a big leather belt to make it more casual.

For shoes and bag I went for items that would blend with the dress and in terms of jewelry I decided to just go for rings. The sleeves on the dress are long and puffed and it has an amazing V-neck with some tassel detailing, so rings would really be the best choice. I love wearing various rings at a time, but I always mix big rings with really thin ones to balance them out.

Escoger que ponerte durante el verano puede ser un poco difícil... qué te debes poner para una boda a pleno día cuando está entre los 80 y 90 grados. Decidí escribir este post no tan solo porque en verano hay muchísimas bodas, pero porque el fin de semana pasado fui a un baby shower y escoger que ponerme fue más difícil de lo que pensé.

Este traje de Antik Batik es una perfecta opción para el verano, los detalles lo hacen ver espectacular y tiene un look bien "relax". Puedes llevarlo solo para un toque más formal o añadirle una correa para hacerlo más casual. Escogí zapatos y una cartera que complementaran el traje y lo dejaran ser la pieza importante del look. Como las mangas del traje son largas y el cuelllo en V, decidí solo añadirle sortijas. Me encanta usar varias sortijas a la vez y cuando opto por usar sortijas grandes, las mezclo con otras bien finitas para balancearlo.
