Meringues and Chiffon: Mixing Stripes With Tangerine

I love wearing stripes all year long, but I have to admit they do go perfectly well with summer, specially when they have a nautical touch. This blouse is pretty simple in essence, blue stripes with a white background, but the combination of thin and wide stripes makes it very eye-catching. Bright colors are the order of the day when it comes to summer, and since dresses and skirts seem like the only viable options for these sweltering hot days, this skirt was a go to. I kept my jewelry on the simple side, stacking up some vintage bracelets, since the look is already a statement. The bag was the perfect detail to tie in the white from the blouse with the entire look, plus white and tangerine look great together and I love that it has a parisian chic factor to it .
