Summer Mornings

Bright summer mornings are my favorite, specially during the weekend, their delightful warmth and freshness are contagious, and I can't help but to be inspired and dress accordingly. Stripes in color have a tendency of being joyful, something that's not necessarily transmitted when their in black and white. I definitely dressed up early in the day, when it was still cool enough to be excited to actually wear clothes, but I knew I had to choose something I could wear throughout the day. I love these  shorts with their red stripes, they're like feel good clothes, and I decided to pair them with this blouse that has an amazing delicate detailing on top. Hope you like this look!

Retro Shorts

Lately I've had my eyes open for clever pieces that can transition from spring to summer, these shorts fit the bill. These shorts would be perfect for a spring luncheon like I did today, or with some fun flats and t-shirt for a nice day of sight seeing. Their redish colored stripes and fit give them a retro feel. I find that these shorts look better with a fitted top rather than a loose one, I chose this wrap around top to add texture to the look and contrast the loose fit of the shorts.
