Peter Pilotto- London Fashion Week

With the end of NYFW comes the beginning of London Fashion Week and within all the fabulous collections that have been shown (Burberry was amazing!) was one of my favorite duos. I've been slightly obsessed with Peter Pilotto for some time now. It's magnificent how they work with prints, graphics and colors to come up with really modern and strong cuts. I love voluminous skirts that really make a statement, so these I would wear in a heartbeat. The collection moves from more subtle color palettes to a really bright one, some with feminine floral prints to really graphic ones. Hope you enjoy this post!

Con el fin de NYFW tenemos el comienzo de London Fashion Week, y entre todas las colecciones presentadas (Burberry estuvo estupenda!), estuvo uno de mis dúos favoritos. He estado un poco obsesionada con Peter Pilotto por un tiempo. La manera en que mezclan estampados, gráficas y colores para llegar a cortes muy modernos me ha maravillado. Me encantan las faldas con mucho volumen, por lo que usaría una de estas sin pensarlo dos veces. La colección va de unos tonos de colores más claros a unos muy fuertes, con estampados florales muy femeninos a unos bien gráficos y modernos. Espero que les guste este post!

If there ever was a power look, this would be a pretty good representation of it. Pencils skirts are a great way to show you mean business while still looking feminine. I looked up the history of the pencil skirt and was surprised to learn that Wilbur and Orville Wright had a really impressive role in it, and then Christian Dior gave it the spin of how we know it today. Houndstooth is one of my favorite prints for its retro feel. With checkers making such a big splash with Louis Vuitton's collection, I couldn't be more excited in pairing these two statement prints. Everything else I maintained relatively simple except for the bag, the graphic Alexander McQueen clutch gave the look a more modern style. Hope you like it!
