Denim on Denim

A great denim shirt is a must have in any closet, and particularly useful during summer days. This one, I've used as a cover up for the beach, paired with shorts for walks and dressed it up more (like this look). This blouse is from Old Navy and it was a great buy, it has an amazing fit, it's super comfortable and really airy, which is crucial for warm days; I have to give kudos to my boyfriend who actually spotted it, gotta love him. When it comes to denim on denim I'm all in for playing with washes, I'm not too fond of matchy, matchy, so I do prefer mixing darker hues with lighter ones. Denim blouses can work as neutrals, so you can pair them with denim jeans, go for black ones for a more dressed up version or pair it with white shorts, or really any colored bottom for a great crisp summer look.
