Red & Black

Who would've ever thought that an entire outfit, composed of two colors, would make such a statement? That's the power of bright colors, and the eternally chic black. Fashion isn't supposed to be complicated, it's a way of translating your interests, moods, personality or whatever you want to. I wore this look to dinner over the weekend, and love it's simplistic nature, but statement making power. I complimented my two color look with gold tone jewelry, pumps and classic red lips. Hope you had an amazing weekend and like this look.

Let me know what you think!

Easy Sunday

I love when Sunday's are simple and easy going, and you're able to enjoy the day, not necessarily doing anything out of the ordinary, but actually being with the people that mean the most to you. Today I went for a laid back, slightly bohemian look, with ripped shorts, white blouse and one of my favorite go to pieces for summer, this Zara coverup. I'm obsessed with Tory Burch's ballerinas for my everyday, go anywhere shoe, and having them in leather or a tan color makes the possibilities endless in terms of looks. Pairing this coverup can sometimes be tricky, so I always choose to go with a simple solid color top underneath and let the coverup be the statement piece. On weekends I usually tend to prefer no fuss looks, the ones you feel the most comfortable in, and these usually tend to say more about yourself than any other. Hope you enjoyed your Sunday!

Let me know what you think.

Denim on Denim

A great denim shirt is a must have in any closet, and particularly useful during summer days. This one, I've used as a cover up for the beach, paired with shorts for walks and dressed it up more (like this look). This blouse is from Old Navy and it was a great buy, it has an amazing fit, it's super comfortable and really airy, which is crucial for warm days; I have to give kudos to my boyfriend who actually spotted it, gotta love him. When it comes to denim on denim I'm all in for playing with washes, I'm not too fond of matchy, matchy, so I do prefer mixing darker hues with lighter ones. Denim blouses can work as neutrals, so you can pair them with denim jeans, go for black ones for a more dressed up version or pair it with white shorts, or really any colored bottom for a great crisp summer look. Hope you like this look.

Let me know!
