By The Beach

There's a style that comes natural to all of us, to me, it's a really casual and laid back style, where shorts are a must. Denim and white is one of those combinations that's timeless and it looks amazing regardless of your style of choice, either if its modern or laid back. I'm not a huge fan of using statement jewelry when going to the beach, but these wood beaded necklaces are light and the tassels add a great effortless and ethnic touch to the look, plus I'm a fan of anything with tassels. The beach is one of my favorite places to be in, and I love having the opportunity of sharing the amazing one's we have in Puerto Rico with you guys!

Unconventional Seating

I love looking at interior decorations, and my go-to place for this is definitely Pinterest. I have to admit, I can spend too much time scrolling through countless images and not really noticing I've been glued to my computer screen for hours, I guess it's one of my guilty pleasures. I love to look at all types of interior decorations, but for decorating my own environment, I gravitate towards a relaxed, beachy vibe with some Moroccan details.

I'll soon be moving to a new apartment in New York, and I've actually been thinking of cool, unconventional seating options. So, while I looked at interior decoration images in Pinterest, I was trying to find inspiration for this. I found some interesting options, from layering big cushions on the floor (like these from Urban Outfitters), to more eye catching ones, such as the huge hanging chair from Anthropologie and a revamped bean bag chair from Bean Bag Boss, to the more traditional ottoman. Hope you like my choices!

Beach Style

I find scarves to have some of the most beautiful prints and colors, so I'm always trying to find a different way to use them, besides the traditional around your neck or bag. I wore this to go to the beach earlier in the week; I wanted to wear something different, not your usual cover-up and thought this would be a great idea. A belt is a must to be able to achieve the blouse look with the scarf, I prefer to use a thin belt, so it maintains that laid back appearance. The bright colors of the scarf made it perfect for a beach look and I just added this white clutch to literally take the look from the sand to a restaurant for an early dinner. Hope you like this look!

¡Me dejan saber!
