The Red Touch

Good morning! My last two post have been definitely on the dressier side, so for this post I wanted to go for a casual look. When I saw this blouse I went crazy over it, so much so that I bought my mom the same one. The sheerness of this blouse makes the styling options endless, you can go for a super casual look like mine or pair with a great pencil skirt for a more polished look. I love being able to pull off simple looks that make a statement, even though the look is almost all-black the blouse really makes the different. Hope you have an amazing weekend & like this look!

¡Buenos días! Mis últimos post han sido un poco más en el lado de lo formal por lo que quise ir por uno casual para este post. Me volví loca con esta blusa desde el momento que la vi, me gustó tanto que  decidí regalarle una a mi mamá. El detalle transparente de la blusa le brinda muchísimas oportunidades de usar, puedes ir por un look casual o usarla con una falda tipo pencil para un look sofisticado. Aunque el look es casi todo negro el detalle de la flor y el rojo de la blusa hacen toda la diferencia. Espero que tengan un buen fin de semana y que les guste este look.

Red & Black

Who would've ever thought that an entire outfit, composed of two colors, would make such a statement? That's the power of bright colors, and the eternally chic black. Fashion isn't supposed to be complicated, it's a way of translating your interests, moods, personality or whatever you want to. I wore this look to dinner over the weekend, and love it's simplistic nature, but statement making power. I complimented my two color look with gold tone jewelry, pumps and classic red lips. Hope you had an amazing weekend and like this look.

¿Quién pensaría que un look de solo dos colores podría llamar tanto la atención? Ese es el resultado de combinar colores brillantes con el eterno chic negro. La moda no tiene que ser complicada, si no una manera de comunicar tus intereses, humor, personalidad, o cualquier cosa. Utilicé este look para salir a comer durante en fin de semana, y me encantó lo simple que es, pero su habilidad de llamar la atención. Complementé el look con prendas doradas, pumps y labios rojos. Celebrating 4th of July

The 4th of July is synonymous with red, white and blue, be it in clothing, decor or food and drinks. It's typical to celebrate this day with friends and family, at the beach, BBQ, watching fireworks or just with company. In honor of celebrating our patriotism on this wonderful day, most of us sport the famous colors in one way or another, some of us may go overboard, covering ourselves with stars and stripes, while other of us might choose to do it in a more subtle way. I prefer the more subtle way of showing your pride, mixing and matching the colors, but still not looking too cheesy, but hey, you should wear whatever makes you happy! For those of you who don't want to look like a walking flag here our some ways to incorporate some 4th of July spirit in a more fashionable way for a day at the beach and a BBQ with friends. Femininely Bold

I definitely have a thing for full skirts, so when I saw a preview of Prabal Gurung's collection for Target and saw this dress I fell for it and hard! It's the perfect combination of feminine and bold, you have a traditional very feminine silhouette combined with a strong apple red and black accents. I decided on adding the sash to accentuate the waist, with full skirts it's easy to look bigger than what you necessarily are, so accenting a small waist or giving the image of it is a must. The dress has such a flirty flair to it, I couldn't help myself on adding "rougher" accents to balance the equation out! Hope you liked the post! Let me know what you think!

Red & Floral

 Taking one of my favorite spring trends, floral. There's something about floral patterns that seem really feminine and fresh, be it a literal floral pattern or a more graphic pattern. I've owned this skirt for some time now and every time I wear it I love it even more. This skirt is definitely a statement skirt; it's pattern, deep red color and fullness make it a complete statement. I decided to pair it with a white blouse that has simple details, so as to not take away from the skirt but still add interest and this big leather belt. This belt is a great closet must have, even though it's big and has a knot in the middle it adds style to the look but doesn't overwhelm it. I personally think that this look is perfect for an occasion where you want to look approachable but still show your personality. Let me know what you think about the look!
