Busy, Busy

Merry Christmas! I was supposed to put this post up yesterday, but the day was really crazy, too many Christmas preparations. I knew I had to do many errands yesterday, so I went for a really relax and comfortable look. This tweed-like jacket is super comfortable and looks great, I love its boho flair and that it adds a lot of color to any look. I kept everything else really simple, white top and ripped jeans, I don't get to use this jacket too often, so I wanted it to be the focus of the look! Hope you all have an amazing Christmas filled with family & friends!

Let me know what you think about this look!

¡Felicidades!

Loving These

There's no question about how timeless a little black dress is, or how much you'll use that black jacket or that amazing clutch, that probably was worth a month's rent. I wanted to share with you guys the all-black pieces that have me oohing and ahing and wishing they'd form part of my closet sooner than soon. If I had to choose from all of them, I'd probably go for the cutout Cushnie et Ochs dress, you guys need to see in on the model, the pictures does it no justice! Sometimes we're really hesitant to make expensive purchases, but sometimes they end up really being worth it. I've always been of the philosophy of investing in timeless pieces, and leaving a smaller budget for trendier ones. Hope you like this post!

Let me know!

¡Me dejan saber!

Layer It

A great way to spruce up a rather usual look of shorts and a basic white t-shirt is by adding a printed jacket. I was more than exited about scoring this awesome jacket at Zara on sale this weekend, and it's actually a great piece to have during summer. It's pretty light weight, so it'll make the perfect item to layer over for a cool summer night or a rainy summer day without it being extremely warm and you'll be able to add print and color to your look. I mean, just because it's extremely hot doesn't mean we need to throw all our style out the window and conform with just being cool and comfortable, there are ways to look chic while battling the temp; how are you working your summer wardrobe? Hope you like the post!

Let me know what you think.

Graphic Print

Who said you can't look put together in shorts? I've never been one to think that shorts only work for a day at the beach, I think they work anytime you want them to. Usually, I try to find shorts that have a great print, don't get me wrong i love all shorts, but printed ones are my favorite. With this look I wanted to play with the graphic snake skin print and went for a safarish inspired look, using neutral tones and the big studded leather bag. Layering always adds interest and texture to a look, so I added this jacket which contrast well with the soft flowiness of the blouse. Dressing up shorts is really simple, just switch the t-shirt for a flowy blouse and add some sandals or platforms and you've got a super chic laid back look. Hope you like the look! Let me know!
