Basic & Eye Catching

There's always a way to embrace the heat and dress accordingly! Ideally, that way would be laying on the beach, soaking up the sun and going for a quick dip in the ocean to cool off ( & repeat), but sadly, that's not always possible. There are basic pieces that are always a must in any closet, and a super thin tank top is one of them. This skirt's print makes it super eye catching and an easy way to fend off the heat while looking stylish. For an easy going summer look, the tank top and the simple leather tote were the perfect match. I'm kind of obsessing over my new shoes, they're like glorified flats. Hope you like this look & have an amazing weekend!

Let me know what you think.

A Little Color & Print

I'm sure I'm not the only one looking forward to storing my coat, gloves, rain boots and all the layers. Im a huge fan of bold prints and one of Spring's trends is all about tribal prints, and I couldn't be more exited! In part I'm excited for a little warmer weather so I can throw a cool jacket over my look and finally add colors to my style again. I'm a huge black & white combination freak, but I'm starting to miss the color accents. I'm obsessed with all the jackets in this post, but the first two are Billabong and they have amazing prices, which is making them even more attractive, at least for me. Hope you like this post!

Let me know.

Lou Lou Jacket- Billabong

All In The Pattern

I love a great flowy skirt, and when you add an amazing print with great color..., I'm sold! It was a supper sunny and warm day, so this skirt was the perfect choice to embrace it. At first I though about wearing a white top, but didn't love it, and then I remembered about this blouse. A blouse that has a subtle design touch like this one, is the perfect choice to match with a busy print, adding more style to the look, without it being too much. Hope you like this look!

Let me know!

Tribal Inspired

I've been seeing so many ethnic inspired pieces lately that I couldn't help but to be inspired by them. When I'm not sporting black and white, I'm usually in neutral tones, I know some say they're boring, but the trick is to add some statement pieces. Going back to the ethnic inspired part, this blouse has a great mix between the floral and tribal art print, and it has an amazing beaded detailed neckline. I wanted to compliment the style of the blouse and at the same time add some more color to the look, this necklace, which is really meant to be a belt keeps in line with the ethnic vibe, but adds texture and interest to the look with it's embellishment, bright colors and rope detailing. This look is really built on neutral tones, but it has texture, color and prints to make it anything, but boring. Hope you like this post!

Let me know what you think!
