Phillip Lim is one of my favorite designers, and I'm specially obsessed with all his handbags. His design aesthetic is modern and very fashion forward, but at the same time extremely wearable. Phillip Lim's collection for Target isn't new news, but since the release date is so close I decided to share my excitement and favorite pieces of the collection. First of all, If you haven't already marked it on your calendar do so now! Sept 15th! I love that this collection is carrying a leather jacket and a trench coat, usually really pricey items and desirable for the upcoming fall for a smaller ticket. Personally, I'm coveting the leather jacket! Besides having great shirt dresses (I'm crazy over the floral print one and at only $40, more than ideal!), there are also timeless tops in beautiful colors and prints.
If you prefer statement making looks, these comic book inspired "Boom" and animal print pieces are a sure way to add a fun twist to your look. I'm particularly loving both sweatshirts, I can see myself wearing them with a feminine like miniskirt. Here's the link for the Behind the scenes of Phillip Lim for Target campaign video.
