Black on Black

There's nothing more slimming than dressing entirely in black; it's your perfect allied after that long weekend where you had one to many french toasts at that exquisite brunch. Don't get me wrong, it isn't like a walk of shame or anything, going for black on black can make for a look that is extremely mysterious and sexy. I love an all one color look that has a twist to it, for this all black ensemble, I decided to add a pop of print with the animal print belt and the bag. Another way to sneak in some color or print is through the shoes, with a really strong lipstick or with a jacket. The idea is that simple is never just plain simple, we always find a way to add our own stamp to it, so, that all black or beige look isn't boring, it's the perfect canvas to express your style through clever touches! Modern Sophisticated

Tanks like this one are simple in concept, but say so much. This top I've had for a very long time and I have worn it in many different styles, from sophisticated looks to more grungy ones. The top structure of this blouse is what makes it timeless and sophisticatedly sexy, only exposing the shoulders and drawing attention to the neck, which I find to be a strong way of being sexy. As I mentioned above this blouse is really versatile, for today I chose black trousers with really high pumps, and left accessories to a minimum for a young and edgy sophisticated look. You could pair this top with black denim shorts and a great pair of strappy sandals for a laid back warm night look or go for some structured white shorts for a more modern version of this look. There are pieces of clothing that stand the test of time looking as perfectly beautiful and timeless as the day they were first bought, do you have any pieces like this?!
