Simple Is Enough

Sometimes less is truly enough.I love that this skirt has such a busy print and is full of color; for this weekend look I decided to style it on the simple side. This black tank was the perfect top for a warm weekend morning, and worked as the best canvas to let all the bright colors shine. Sandals are always a great choice when you're going for a polished laid-back look. This bag is super simple in structure, but because of the fun shape and neon trimmings it adds character to any look without overwhelming it. Hope your weekend was great! Hope you like this look!

Algunas veces algo simple es suficiente. Me encanta todo el detalle que tiene el estampado de esta falda y sus colores, para este fin de semana decidí irme con un estilo simple. La blusa negra fue el top perfecto para una mañana caliente y funcionó como el canvas ideal para resaltar los colores de la blusa. Cuando estás buscando un look casual pero sofisticado a la misma vez, las sandalias son tu mejor opción. Esta cartera es muy simple, pero su forma inusual y sus detalles en color neón le añaden carácter al look sin ser demasiado. Espero que hayan tenido un fin de semana estupendo! Vintage Express

I don't think there is anything more comfortable than the boyfriend fit, these are pants you can really do whatever in. I love that their style is super cool and relaxed, but you can definitely style it up or down, go sophisticated or boho chic... the possibilities are really endless. I went for a spruced up version of a relaxed and easy look, but you switch the pumps for flats and the clutch for a satchel and it would be perfect for a day of shopping. All colorful looks are a bit of a rare species in my everyday look, but there are days when you have to give in and go color crazy and specially when you're trying to enjoy the last drops of Summer! Easy Sunday

I love when Sunday's are simple and easy going, and you're able to enjoy the day, not necessarily doing anything out of the ordinary, but actually being with the people that mean the most to you. Today I went for a laid back, slightly bohemian look, with ripped shorts, white blouse and one of my favorite go to pieces for summer, this Zara coverup. I'm obsessed with Tory Burch's ballerinas for my everyday, go anywhere shoe, and having them in leather or a tan color makes the possibilities endless in terms of looks. Pairing this coverup can sometimes be tricky, so I always choose to go with a simple solid color top underneath and let the coverup be the statement piece. On weekends I usually tend to prefer no fuss looks, the ones you feel the most comfortable in, and these usually tend to say more about yourself than any other. Beautiful & Delicate

The perfect way to match a beautiful & delicate floral pattern might just be with a flowy and organic looking companion. I bought these Zara shorts last summer, and I think I can confess right now that I will never throw them away, I'll just take them with me wherever I go. I've learned to appreciate beautiful and delicate prints with time, It's probably because of the ever maturing cycle we go through, but I like to think that there's just something about what's truly beautiful that's more impacting than what's trendy or more in your face. I love that this gorgeous print was translated to shorts and that you can also find similar ones on jeans or pants, because it makes it more wearable rather than sunday dresses, which honestly we would look rather out of place wearing them to go somewhere like the supermarket (imagine something like the Stepford Wives). So, here's to sporting beautiful floral patterns for the everyday without channeling a robotish vibe. Hope you like the look!

Florals & Fringes

Lately, all I've been wanting are bright colors, prints and textures, anything that looks like a world traveler would have in their closet. I saw this fringed cardigan that's inspired in a spanish shawl in Zara and fell in love with it. It has so many possibilities, like throwing it over your bikini or pairing it with shorts and nice flats for a very hippie-ish look; it's a great summer staple. I went for a really easy and relaxed look, ideal for starting the long weekend. All I wanted to stand out was the fringed cardigan, so I kept the blouse and accessories within the color pallet of the cardigan, and chose my ripped jeans to complete the casual style. The fringe clutch I thought could be like an overkill, but I liked how it complimented the overall look, possibly the color is what helped it blend in. Hope you like it!

Color on Black

I was so excited today when I paired this Prabal Gurung shirt with these black skinny's, I had my mind so setup in pairing it with a skirt that I hadn't seen how good it would look with these black skinny jeans. I really loved how this outfit came about, it's entirely black from head to toe, but I infused bright colors and print through the shirt. This look has a rocker chic flair to it and the jacket adds structure and a modern edge to it.
