Traveling with Style

 Traveling and style don't usually mix, and even more so when your getting on a 5+ hour trip, it's only natural to value comfort over style in these circumstances. For example, choosing flats over amazing pumps, or going for slouchy pants instead of skinny ones, but the truth is, you don't really have to sacrifice style completely. Lets target pants, I don't consider skinny jeans to be the most comfortable trousers for sitting in small seats for what seems like endless hours, but I won't go for sweatpants either, the trick is to find loose fitted pants, possibly with some stretch to them and if you score them in a great bold color or print it'll be perfect. Blouses are easier to find in a comfortable fit, you can go for a great T-shirt and add a jacket or scarf to keep you warm and add even more colors and character to your look. Ballet flats are a great go to for traveling, they're super easy to take off when you have to pass by the security check points and they're also really comfortable. Lastly, be wise to take a bag that's big enough to fit everything, but that you will able to have your hands free to carry other bags. What are your travel basics? Hope you like this look!

Easy Sunday

I love when Sunday's are simple and easy going, and you're able to enjoy the day, not necessarily doing anything out of the ordinary, but actually being with the people that mean the most to you. Today I went for a laid back, slightly bohemian look, with ripped shorts, white blouse and one of my favorite go to pieces for summer, this Zara coverup. I'm obsessed with Tory Burch's ballerinas for my everyday, go anywhere shoe, and having them in leather or a tan color makes the possibilities endless in terms of looks. Pairing this coverup can sometimes be tricky, so I always choose to go with a simple solid color top underneath and let the coverup be the statement piece. On weekends I usually tend to prefer no fuss looks, the ones you feel the most comfortable in, and these usually tend to say more about yourself than any other. Bright & Electric

There's no doubt about it, living in an island lets me wear shorts almost every day of the year and I always try to achieve a casual chic look, never dull. I fell in love with these shorts because of their print and color. I paired them with a white-T and decided to layer on this hot pink cover up to add more color and style. I recently purchased this neon yellow ballerina slippers, I'd been looking for a long time for bright color ballerinas. Having shoes like this can add a punch of attitude to any look, these ballerinas could also look great with a monochrome look. This look really takes inspiration from Spring's electric color trend but it also perfect for light lunch or running some errands. Let me know what you think about this look!
