Simple & Bohemian

I've seen my collection of simple white tops grow little by little, and the thing is, I think you can never have enough of this staple item. They look great with just jeans and a jacket, but they also make the perfect backdrop for other, more extravagant pieces. These shorts have an amazing print, with beads detailing the edge of the pattern; I've worn them with dressier tops for more "fancier" occasions, but decided on this top to make it relax weekend appropriate.

Since the shorts have a bohemian flair, I added these wooden bead necklaces that have the coolest tassels. I went for a simple understated leather bag, to keep within the style, but loved that the booties gave it an unexpected twist. Hope you like this look!

Sunny Days

It's still pretty warm here in PR, and it'll be a couple of more months like this, so shorts are still a go-to for us here in sunny PR. I went for a more dressed up version of casual by adding these booties and big belt to this look, but I could easily dress it down by going for flats and a thinner or no belt. I love mixing styles, so this look is on the boho-chic side, but with a bit of edginess because of the shoes and bag. Hope you like this look!

Me dejan saber.

Objects of Desire

Ankle booties have been something of an object of desire lately for me. When thinking of pieces that can transition well from Summer to Fall, I can't think of anything better. When it comes to booties I've been obsessing over cut-outs, it gives them a modern flair. A basic black bootie is a must in any closet, it's super versatile, you can pair them with jeans for a casual look or with a structured skirt for a more dressed up version, and the best part is they'll be timeless. When it comes to those go to shoes I found these great Miu Miu booties that I can see myself wearing for everything and anything, and they'll make any basic look be like 5 times more amazing! For a dressier option, I fell in love with these super sleek and sophisticated Gianvito Rossi, they're great for a meeting or a special dinner. Are you already looking for your pieces to transition between seasons?! Hope you like my choices!

Leopard Print

It's true that wearing an all animal print look takes some gusts, but it's easy to pull off with a classic shaped dress. There's also a fine line in wearing animal print and looking chic vs trashy; what's key in wearing this print and looking chic is having the right fit. This dress is super versatile, you could wear a blazer over it and it would be perfect for the office, wear it like this and go out for dinner or  just take it from day to night. I decided to pair this look with these open toe booties for an edgier look, but if you use a pair of black or nude pumps it would be a perfect classic look. Wearing animal print really is easier than what we think if you have the correct pieces. Let me know what you think about the look!

From Day to Night

Today I'm showing you how easy it can be to change a look from day to night while maintaining one main piece the same. For this post I chose to keep the black leggings the same and decided to change accessories, shoes and blouse. For the casual look I chose to pair the black leggings with an oversized tan sweater, leopard print loafers and big leather bag. This look is perfect for shopping, running errands or going for lunch. What really adds a chic touch to this look are the leopard print loafers.

I changed the look by choosing a polka dot black blouse, grey booties and changing to a small bag. Since the look was pretty dark I added a splash of color with the turquoise horn necklace and left the other jewelry the same. It's really easing changing a look from day to night if you keep one piece the same. Let me know what you think about the look and if you have other ideas!
