Simply Modern

If I had to choose one of my favorite go to looks, it would be skinny jeans and a button down loose blouse. I've been deeply obsessed with buttoned down blouses for some time now, I just love how they can polish any look up. I don't particularly love, love skinny jeans, but I do love the combination of the loose top with the skinny jeans. The skinny jeans and buttoned down blouse combination itself is super versatile, you can have one that's super casual, perfect for taking your dog to the park or one that's really sophisticated for an important dinner or meeting. For today's look I wore a layered necklace and went for sleek pumps and a clutch, to keep the look simple and modern. Hope you like this look.

Si tuviera que escoger un look preferido, tendría que ser la combinación de pantalones skinny y una blusa de botones. Este tipo de blusa me ha encantado por mucho tiempo, el toque sofisticado que le pueden dar a cualquier estilo es perfecto. Los pantalones skinny no es que sean mi pantalón preferido, pero la combinación es perfecta y muy versátil. Puedes tener un look así, perfecto para salir y dar un paseo con tu mascota o uno muy sofisticado, perfecto para una reunión y comida importante. Para este look escogí un collar largo, unos pumps y una cartera de mano, para mantenerlo simple y moderno. Espero que les guste este look.

Objects of Desire

Ankle booties have been something of an object of desire lately for me. When thinking of pieces that can transition well from Summer to Fall, I can't think of anything better. When it comes to booties I've been obsessing over cut-outs, it gives them a modern flair. A basic black bootie is a must in any closet, it's super versatile, you can pair them with jeans for a casual look or with a structured skirt for a more dressed up version, and the best part is they'll be timeless. When it comes to those go to shoes I found these great Miu Miu booties that I can see myself wearing for everything and anything, and they'll make any basic look be like 5 times more amazing! For a dressier option, I fell in love with these super sleek and sophisticated Gianvito Rossi, they're great for a meeting or a special dinner. Sleek

Sometimes there's nothing like throwing a little modern & sleek to your everyday routine to spice it up. It's easy to feel extremely fierce and stylish when you're going for a modern look, and a great way to achieve it is by choosing sleek dark pieces and modern prints. These BCBG shorts have a really cool modern take on a traditional reptile print, and the color pallet makes them ideal for daytime attire as well as for nighttime. Keeping in tune with the modern style, I went very simplistic in the accessories department, layering  a gold chain with a leather and golden accent nugget necklace and choosing a leather envelope style clutch. Sandals were the perfect way to keep the look really stylish, without making it seem overdressed  or complicated for daytime. Hope you like this look!
