Leopard Print Ballet Flats

I have to admit, a great pair of leopard print shoes are a must in my closet, they add an incredible amount of style to any look. I'm so obsessed with them that I'm still pretty bummed out that I missed on a great pair of Calvin Klein leopard print sandals that where in Marshalls a couple of weeks ago. I own a pair of leopard print loafers, that I probably use too much and you've seen already in some of my posts (here & here), but I have to say that I find ballerina flats to be more versatile than loafers. I know you can't exactly compare them because loafers have a masculine touch while ballerina flats are very feminine, but I've found that ballet flats have more styling options. I saw these incredible flats at Banana Republic and I automatically fell in love with them, they have endless styling opportunities, from a nice sunday dress to any kind of skinny jeans with a leather jacket. The price on these is great, but I found two more great options at even more affordable prices. Hope you like this post!

Let me know!

Power of Print

A simple look can be turned upside down and become a show stopping one, by just choosing to add a punch, in this case... animal print. When you have such a busy piece it's ideal to go simple on the other areas, unless you find another print that compliments it. Since my pants are entirely leopard print, I decided to pair it with a white blouse to balance the look out, and kept the shoes and bag simple by going for black, which naturally, is a huge part of this print. How do you style your animal print pieces? Hope you like this look.

Let me know what you think!

Leopard Loafers

The first time I saw these loafers I immediately fell for them, but they weren't exactly these ones... they were in zebra print! At that time I wasn't sure if I was feeling the loafers movement, so, I decided to give it a thought, which only took like 20 mins to decide, but I lucked out! Someone had taken the last pair in my size, I'm sure this has happen to you also, right? Fortunately, I scored these a couple of weeks later which are a great substitute to those. I love using these loafers when I go more subtle or casual with my look, like today, they're like that statement touch that completes the look. I've always been amazed at all the styling possibilities loafers have, they look great shorts/pants or skirts and even with short dresses, they lend themselves for preppy styles or more rocker chic ones and you can use them in fall or summer! How do you style your loafers? Hope you like this look!

Let me know what you think!

A Leopard Print Day

There are moments when just an animal print look will work, and today was definitely one of those moments. I have to admit, I used to be pretty intimated by animal print, and specifically huge amounts... aka this dress, but now I love them. This dress is the perfect match for the print because of its classy shape, it's easy to cross the tacky line with animal print, so be sure about the piece. I added the belt to help create some shape and add a casual touch. I know how difficult it is to dress really chic and pretty when you're just about to melt, but having pieces like this dress will be your lifesavers for those super extreme hot days! Hope you like this look!

Leopard Print

It's true that wearing an all animal print look takes some gusts, but it's easy to pull off with a classic shaped dress. There's also a fine line in wearing animal print and looking chic vs trashy; what's key in wearing this print and looking chic is having the right fit. This dress is super versatile, you could wear a blazer over it and it would be perfect for the office, wear it like this and go out for dinner or  just take it from day to night. I decided to pair this look with these open toe booties for an edgier look, but if you use a pair of black or nude pumps it would be a perfect classic look. Wearing animal print really is easier than what we think if you have the correct pieces. Let me know what you think about the look!

Classics & Leopard

Oh animal print, some people love it and other hate it; at this point in time I'm one of those who love it. I wanted to share this look because it's a great example of pairing classics with more trendy options. Classic pieces like this double breasted jacket are a must have in any closet because you will always be able to used them. I jumped at the idea of pairing this rather classy jacket with the leopard skinny's and blouse to give it more trendiness and pull off a parisian chic look. Fashion should be fun so mix & match however you wish! Let me know what you think!
