Favorite Emmys' Looks

Loved last night's Emmys', and even more so when Jim Parsons won the Emmy for outstanding lead comedy actor, absolutely love The Big Bang Theory! The red carpet was full of beautiful dresses, but I have to say that my top favorite was Claire Danes in Armani Privé. This Armani Privé is extremely elegant, full of beautiful details and has a really tasteful deep cut, a perfect choice for the Emmy's. My other favorites were Allison William in this gorgeous blue Ralph Lauren dress, Rose Byrne in Calvin Klein and Julie Bowen in an exquisite Zac Posen number. Which were your favorite looks at the Emmys Red Carpet?

Let me know!

Color on Black

I was so excited today when I paired this Prabal Gurung shirt with these black skinny's, I had my mind so setup in pairing it with a skirt that I hadn't seen how good it would look with these black skinny jeans. I really loved how this outfit came about, it's entirely black from head to toe, but I infused bright colors and print through the shirt. This look has a rocker chic flair to it and the jacket adds structure and a modern edge to it. If you're not really sure how to dress with bright colors or prints this is a perfect way to do so, sometimes simple can go a long way. Hope you liked this post! Let me know!

Sketches & Stripes

You already know about my love for everything black & white and stripes, doesn't matter in what direction or color. My obsession with black & white isn't only in clothing... I love sketches, the simplicity and rawness of them, so when I saw this T-shirt in Zara, I needed it! The knack of combining patters is a must have for everyone, it's super chic and has a parisian flair to it, you can make any look amazing. I couldn't help combining this skirt with the T-shirt, they complement each other perfectly with the simplicity of the shirt and the fun from the stripes; I added the clutch to add some more graphic interest to the look. Hope you liked the post! Let me know what you think!

Femininely Bold

I definitely have a thing for full skirts, so when I saw a preview of Prabal Gurung's collection for Target and saw this dress I fell for it and hard! It's the perfect combination of feminine and bold, you have a traditional very feminine silhouette combined with a strong apple red and black accents. I decided on adding the sash to accentuate the waist, with full skirts it's easy to look bigger than what you necessarily are, so accenting a small waist or giving the image of it is a must. The dress has such a flirty flair to it, I couldn't help myself on adding "rougher" accents to balance the equation out! Hope you liked the post! Let me know what you think!

Croc Embossed

I went shopping during the weekend and bought this amazing Zara blouse, that I couldn't wait to style for the blog. I loved this blouse for its modern crisp look and detailed fabric; lately I've been really interested on sharp modern lines. The blouse has this incredible crocodile embossed pattern that I really wanted to highlight, so I paired it with short shorts and cutout booties to achieve an edgy look. You could pull off this edgy look with skinny black jeans or leggings for a more modest version. I decided on this reef cuff to add interest to the look and give it a spin, and what's best about it was the amazing bargain it was! Let me know what you think about this look!

A Parisian Flair

I think that every fashionista or aspiring fashionista should have a perfect white t-shirt in their closet, be it really fitted or loose (whatever you prefer) to dress up or down. When I find a pair of jeans or white t-shirt (yes, that specific) that I like I buy two. I'm ridiculously picky over these t-shirts and jeans, and I know that I'll save hours if not days of helplessly searching without success if I just buy a second one when I find them. I know that jeans and a t-shirt can be a pretty common look, but when you spruce it up it can work wonders. By choosing skinny black jeans and adding the cut out booties you automatically give it more style, but the clue to finish off this look with a Parisian feel was the short sleeved jacket. This jacket adds texture and interest to the look because of its industrial type zipper and cracked detail fabric, its details like this that take your look to another level! Let me know what you think about the look and how you would style your t-shirt!
