Steals!

I have to admit that I'm quite the sale enthusiast, there's nothing better than finding that bag you've been eyeing for some time with a great discount! I don't necessarily wait for those incredible sales to begin looking at them, sometimes I'll look every week and other times every couple of months. Last night I was looking at some sales, because honestly it had been some time since the last time I did and found these incredible pieces.

I always try to invest in timeless pieces, even if it's on sale, I don't tend to go for super trendy high ticket items. Black sandals will always be in, and they are really versatile, so these B Brian Atwood ones are to invest in. A simple, no fuss, but super stylish black leather bag is one you'll surely keep for many years to come, I particularly love the gold hardware on this one.

I love boots in tans and browns, and these ones hit the mark, I particularly love the way they look from behind and the wrapping effect. Hope you enjoy these finds!

Let me know!

¡Me dejan saber!

Flor

Savvy Fashion

It's really common for us to live on a budget, be it on groceries, daily coffee stops, going out with friends or on fashion... obviously. It's easy to get lost in all the glitz and glamour of designer wear, and wishing we could have that skirt that just came down the Lanvin runway, but, reality is, not all of us can afford it... depressing, right?! Fashion doesn't have to mean designer labels, dressing on a budget just requires vision and confidence in your taste. It also helps that many of these genius designers have teamed up with major retailers to offer more budget friendly versions of their items. I'm a huge bargain hunter, I guess I just love the feeling of knowing I found a great piece at a great price!

For this budget friendly look I concentrated everything around this spectacular dress from Phillip Lim's collection for Target, the entire collection is amazing! I decided to style it on the edgy side, so I went for these very modern/edgy ankle boots from Zara, oversized clutch and super modern jewelry. The idea behind this entire look was keeping a super tight budget and making sure all the pieces are extremely versatile, so you can definitely get your return on investment! Hope you like this look!

Let me know what you think!

Color on Black

I was so excited today when I paired this Prabal Gurung shirt with these black skinny's, I had my mind so setup in pairing it with a skirt that I hadn't seen how good it would look with these black skinny jeans. I really loved how this outfit came about, it's entirely black from head to toe, but I infused bright colors and print through the shirt. This look has a rocker chic flair to it and the jacket adds structure and a modern edge to it. If you're not really sure how to dress with bright colors or prints this is a perfect way to do so, sometimes simple can go a long way. Hope you liked this post! Let me know!

All White

I'm loving my new white skinny jeans, so I couldn't help but to wear them again of this bright sunny day. I usually don't wear monochromatic looks, unless they're all black, but I'm embracing them. I loved pairing this white blouse with white skinny's and adding a pop of print with these leopard print moccasins and black Marc Jacobs bag. This all white look is perfect for a weekend lunch and you could add more color with a bright blazer or belt. Let me know what you think about the look!

Celebrating with stripes!

Today I celebrated a very special day, my grandmother's birthday & I'm sharing what I wore to the b-day celebration. It's no secret that I love black & white, and what I love almost as much... stripes! I cannot recall when my love affection when stripes began, but I'm seriously obsessed with them. With these Zara pants that I've already shown in another post (here), you come with a bang! They're wide, really long and the stripe pattern make them perfect to dress up or down while looking completely unique! For this occasion I decided to dress them more casual and opted for this Banana Republic fitted t-shirt, since I went simple with the t-shirt pairing it with this amazing necklace was a no brainer! The necklace worked perfectly because it played with the stripe pattern of the pants and it elongates the figure .  I hope you enjoy the look & await your lovely comments!

All Black

Today I'm sharing with you an all black look, the key to pulling off a one color look for me is adding some texture and some color in key places. For this look I chose a lace blouse and added a sash to create some definition. This lace blouse is extremely flattering because of the vertical direction of the lines. Since this blouse is see through I decided to wear a nude bra but I've also used black, it really all depends on what the occasion is. For the shoes I decided on these Steve Madden snake print pumps, these pumps were perfect for this look because besides their print they have the gold point. To tie in the gold from the pumps I decided on simple gold hoop earrings and the Marc Jacobs bag, which has gold accents.  Let me know what you think about this look!!

Zara dress and oversized jacket. Marc Jacobs bag. Tom Ford sunglasses.
I love anything and everything with stripes; the oversized jacket gives the traditional stripes a more modern look. Black sky-high pumps are a must have in any closet, they can be the finishing touch in any look.
