Simply Modern

If I had to choose one of my favorite go to looks, it would be skinny jeans and a button down loose blouse. I've been deeply obsessed with buttoned down blouses for some time now, I just love how they can polish any look up. I don't particularly love, love skinny jeans, but I do love the combination of the loose top with the skinny jeans. The skinny jeans and buttoned down blouse combination itself is super versatile, you can have one that's super casual, perfect for taking your dog to the park or one that's really sophisticated for an important dinner or meeting. For today's look I wore a layered necklace and went for sleek pumps and a clutch, to keep the look simple and modern. Hope you like this look.

Let me know!

Color on Black

I was so excited today when I paired this Prabal Gurung shirt with these black skinny's, I had my mind so setup in pairing it with a skirt that I hadn't seen how good it would look with these black skinny jeans. I really loved how this outfit came about, it's entirely black from head to toe, but I infused bright colors and print through the shirt. This look has a rocker chic flair to it and the jacket adds structure and a modern edge to it. If you're not really sure how to dress with bright colors or prints this is a perfect way to do so, sometimes simple can go a long way. Hope you liked this post! Let me know!

Acaí Purple Bowl

I learned about purple bowls a couple of months ago and since then I've been crazy over them. I usually share dessert recipes that lack on the low cal and healthy vibe, so I thought this would be a nice twist to my usuals. The main ingredient in the purple bowl is acaí purée and it's basically the reason why it's so healthy, it's full of antioxidants. You can add any other fruits you like to the purée and in terms of liquid you can use soy milk, regular milk, apple juice, orange juice or whatever you want to try out. I used strawberries, blueberries, bananas, mangos and added Naked's Berry Blast juice, but remember you can add any fruits and liquid you want. You can use honey or agave to sweeten the purple bowl and add some granola at the end when you pour it into your bowl.

Usually when I try these type of things at restaurants or shops, I tend to be uneasy about them because it's easy to think they're low calorie, low sugar and just healthy, but they've added tons of sugar to make them taste good. If you have time to make them at home do it, plus it's super easy and fun, but if you know a place and trust their product that's perfect also. I really hope you try this out, it's perfect for your sweet cravings and those hot summer days to come, and I promise you it tastes amazing!

Ingredients I used:
1 Banana
8 Strawberries
Handfull of blueberries
Half a mango
2 packs acaí purée
Handfull of granola
Squirt of Agave
Small amount of Berry Blast

Instructions:
***Purple bowl has a thicker consistency than smoothies or frappes so you'll need to add a small amount of liquid and use the acaí purée packs still frozen to maintain this consistency.

Add the fruits, acaí purée packs, small amount of liquid and agave in a blender and blend away. Transfer the mixture to a bowl where you can add granola, more berries, coconut flakes or nuts on top.

A Parisian Flair

I think that every fashionista or aspiring fashionista should have a perfect white t-shirt in their closet, be it really fitted or loose (whatever you prefer) to dress up or down. When I find a pair of jeans or white t-shirt (yes, that specific) that I like I buy two. I'm ridiculously picky over these t-shirts and jeans, and I know that I'll save hours if not days of helplessly searching without success if I just buy a second one when I find them. I know that jeans and a t-shirt can be a pretty common look, but when you spruce it up it can work wonders. By choosing skinny black jeans and adding the cut out booties you automatically give it more style, but the clue to finish off this look with a Parisian feel was the short sleeved jacket. This jacket adds texture and interest to the look because of its industrial type zipper and cracked detail fabric, its details like this that take your look to another level! Let me know what you think about the look and how you would style your t-shirt!

The Edgy Look

These couple of last days I've been really into the skinny jeans, and I've always had this love affection to the half tuck in blouse look. These skinny jeans are really old but they're just perfect, because they look really really skinny but they're super comfortable to wear. What I like about this look is that it has an edginess to it, but at the same time it looks effortless, and it works for girls night out or dinner with your significant other. Let me know what you think about the look!

All Black

Today I'm sharing with you an all black look, the key to pulling off a one color look for me is adding some texture and some color in key places. For this look I chose a lace blouse and added a sash to create some definition. This lace blouse is extremely flattering because of the vertical direction of the lines. Since this blouse is see through I decided to wear a nude bra but I've also used black, it really all depends on what the occasion is. For the shoes I decided on these Steve Madden snake print pumps, these pumps were perfect for this look because besides their print they have the gold point. To tie in the gold from the pumps I decided on simple gold hoop earrings and the Marc Jacobs bag, which has gold accents.  Let me know what you think about this look!!
