White on White on Black

I found this amazing Helmut Lang jacket at their sample sale last week in New York, and I loved it right then and there. It has so many styling options, from a really sophisticated all-black look, to a more casual one with ripped jeans or throw it over LBD as the perfect finishing touch.  

Since the print is the focus of this jacket I decided to let it stand out, normally I would've gone for black skinny jeans, but I decided to go for an all white look to keep it super fresh.  Hope you like this look!

Encontré este jacket Helmut Lang en su sample sale en Nueva York y quedé loca con el allí mismo. Es súper versátil, lo puedes usar en un look sofisticado, uno casual con mahones, o usarlo sobre un traje conrto negro como el detalle perfecto. 

Lo especial de este jacket es su estampado, decidí verstir alrededor de el para dejarlo brillar, usualmente me hubiese ido por unos mahones skinny negro, pero escogí un look todo blanco para mantenerlo fresco. ¡Espero que les guste este look!

Simply Modern

If I had to choose one of my favorite go to looks, it would be skinny jeans and a button down loose blouse. I've been deeply obsessed with buttoned down blouses for some time now, I just love how they can polish any look up. I don't particularly love, love skinny jeans, but I do love the combination of the loose top with the skinny jeans. The skinny jeans and buttoned down blouse combination itself is super versatile, you can have one that's super casual, perfect for taking your dog to the park or one that's really sophisticated for an important dinner or meeting. For today's look I wore a layered necklace and went for sleek pumps and a clutch, to keep the look simple and modern. Hope you like this look.

Si tuviera que escoger un look preferido, tendría que ser la combinación de pantalones skinny y una blusa de botones. Este tipo de blusa me ha encantado por mucho tiempo, el toque sofisticado que le pueden dar a cualquier estilo es perfecto. Los pantalones skinny no es que sean mi pantalón preferido, pero la combinación es perfecta y muy versátil. Puedes tener un look así, perfecto para salir y dar un paseo con tu mascota o uno muy sofisticado, perfecto para una reunión y comida importante. Para este look escogí un collar largo, unos pumps y una cartera de mano, para mantenerlo simple y moderno. Espero que les guste este look.

Celebrating 4th of July

The 4th of July is synonymous with red, white and blue, be it in clothing, decor or food and drinks. It's typical to celebrate this day with friends and family, at the beach, BBQ, watching fireworks or just with company. In honor of celebrating our patriotism on this wonderful day, most of us sport the famous colors in one way or another, some of us may go overboard, covering ourselves with stars and stripes, while other of us might choose to do it in a more subtle way. I prefer the more subtle way of showing your pride, mixing and matching the colors, but still not looking too cheesy, but hey, you should wear whatever makes you happy! For those of you who don't want to look like a walking flag here our some ways to incorporate some 4th of July spirit in a more fashionable way for a day at the beach and a BBQ with friends.
