A Little Color & Print

I'm sure I'm not the only one looking forward to storing my coat, gloves, rain boots and all the layers. Im a huge fan of bold prints and one of Spring's trends is all about tribal prints, and I couldn't be more exited! In part I'm excited for a little warmer weather so I can throw a cool jacket over my look and finally add colors to my style again. I'm a huge black & white combination freak, but I'm starting to miss the color accents. I'm obsessed with all the jackets in this post, but the first two are Billabong and they have amazing prices, which is making them even more attractive, at least for me. Hope you like this post!

 Bueno... estoy segura que no estoy sola cuando digo que estoy loca por guardar mi abrigo, guantes, botas y todas las capas que llevo usando a diario. Ya saben que me fascinan los estampados y una de las tendencias para esta primavera son los estampados tribales, el cual me tiene muy contenta. Una de las razones que estoy esperando un poco de calor es para poder llevar un jacket con mucho carácter sobre mi look. Me encantan todos los jackets que incluí en este post pero los primeros dos son Billabong y tienen unos precios súper buenos. Espero que les gusten.

Emerald

Emerald is officially one of the hottest colors for spring, it evokes freshness and newness, so it's no wonder that I was super excited to try out this trend! When trying out this trend you don't have to limit yourself to just Emerald, you can use any variation of this color. I decided on these DKNY pants that have the perfect green hue and they're fit embodies simpleness and ease. I matched them with one of the blouses from the Prabal Gurung Collection for Target, this blouse screams out spring with its mix of vibrant colors and orchids print. I chose to complete the look with this white tasseled clutch to bring out the white of the blouse and use nude sandals to keep with the fresh and simple look! All About Electric Colors

I bought this skirt on one of those amazing sales at Zara and fell completely head over heals for it. This skirt has so much going for it, the electric orange color, perfect length and the folding details and slit on the side make it a statement skirt. When I was looking for a blouse to pair with the it at first I thought about solid colors, but then I stumbled on this blouse. At first I wasn't sure about the combination, I didn't know if having two strong pieces together would look like too much,but I was delighted with the outcome. The zebra print blouse with the electric orange skirt give for a really strong and modern look. Since I live on an Island seasons don't really change, but I have to admit that Spring does inject more colors, prints and attitude to ones wardrobe! Let me know what you think about the look!

Red & Floral

 Taking one of my favorite spring trends, floral. There's something about floral patterns that seem really feminine and fresh, be it a literal floral pattern or a more graphic pattern. I've owned this skirt for some time now and every time I wear it I love it even more. This skirt is definitely a statement skirt; it's pattern, deep red color and fullness make it a complete statement. I decided to pair it with a white blouse that has simple details, so as to not take away from the skirt but still add interest and this big leather belt. This belt is a great closet must have, even though it's big and has a knot in the middle it adds style to the look but doesn't overwhelm it. I personally think that this look is perfect for an occasion where you want to look approachable but still show your personality. Let me know what you think about the look!

Bright & Electric

There's no doubt about it, living in an island lets me wear shorts almost every day of the year and I always try to achieve a casual chic look, never dull. I fell in love with these shorts because of their print and color. I paired them with a white-T and decided to layer on this hot pink cover up to add more color and style. I recently purchased this neon yellow ballerina slippers, I'd been looking for a long time for bright color ballerinas. Having shoes like this can add a punch of attitude to any look, these ballerinas could also look great with a monochrome look. This look really takes inspiration from Spring's electric color trend but it also perfect for light lunch or running some errands. Let me know what you think about this look!
